Collect and readings for Trinity Sunday, 12th June  

 Collect:  Almighty and everlasting God, you have given us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity: keep us steadfast in this faith, that we may evermore be defended from all adversities; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Collect:  O God, the strength of all those who put their trust in you, mercifully accept our prayers and, because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without you, grant us the help of your grace, that in the keeping of your commandments we may please you both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Thank you all for helping with Fiesta Whitley Bay and the Jubilee Picnic! The day was a huge success enjoyed by the whole community. Thank you!

Praying and working together with our neighbours: We want to work closer with our neighbours from St Peter's church. We will begin by praying together the Daily Office weekly twice a week. On Tuesday evenings at 5 pm people from St Peter's will join us for Evening Prayer at St Paul's and on Thursday mornings we will join them for Morning Prayer at St Peter's at 8.30 am. Join us! 

St Paul’s magazine: the latest edition of The Gate is now on sale at the back of church or will have been delivered to you. This edition is the last of the current paid subscription period and renewal letters are included in each copy of the magazine. Payments to renew – or start – a subscription can be given to Margaret Barron or Mary Evans or can be made on line: details of ways to pay and the different ways you can receive your copies are set out on the form included in each magazine. Thank you

Confirmations at St Paul's: Would you like to be confirmed? Do you know somebody who would like to be confirmed? We are planning to have Confirmations at St Paul's and we will begin the Confirmation preparation soon. Please, talk to the Vicar if you are interested. 

Flowers in church for the week beginning 19th June have been donated by Margaret Marshall in celebration of her 80th birthday.
