Christmas presents to St. Paul’s: there’s a container at the back of church ready for your donations, which will be gratefully received.

New Electoral Roll:  the legal notice about the preparation of the new electoral roll is on display in the porch.  Every six years, we are required to completely renew our electoral roll. This means that everyone on the roll has to re-apply to be registered again.

  • If you are on the current roll, please complete and return the form you’ve been given as soon as possible - to either Helen Lawlan (our electoral roll officer), or to Lilian Martin. The deadline is 6 February.
  • If you worship regularly with us, you should be on the Roll to take a full part in congre- gational life.A blank form is available from Helen or Lilian.

2019 parish calendar: if you’d like your group’s meeting dates included in next year's parish calendar, please send proposed dates/times to Mary Evans as soon as you can. Thank you.

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) will be on Sunday 24 February 2019.   We now need to begin compiling the annual report. Could you please let me have reports from any committees (including PCC sub-committees) and organisations by 27 January 2019.  Please come and have a chat if you are not sure whether you need to submit a report, or for help on what to include. Thank you.   Mary Evans, PCC secretary.

Charity fundraising: during Lent we will be holding events to raise funds for charity, and the PCC will choose which charities to support for 2019.  Please give Mary Evans the name of any charity you would like to nominate, along with a brief description of the work they do, by 25 January 2019 so they can be decided by the PCC at their next meeting. Thank you.

Thank you to our church dusting volunteer for the week 30 Dec – 5 Jan: Lilian Martin.
