Last week's pew sheet

Please use this sheet through the week in your prayers.

Welcome to Saint Paul’s. The main order of service is on the cream card. The special prayers for this Sunday, Bible reading references, and hymn numbers are on this sheet. Words for the hymns are in the green book, or on this sheet.  Items are available to occupy children who are not attending Sunday Club.  Just ask the Sidesmen (who gave you this leaflet) about this, or if you have any other questions.

Summer Fair, Saturday 23 June

  • The collecting boxes for your fair contributions and the special sign up notice board are at the back of church. Please make sure they’re filled!
  • Early donations of prizes for tombola and raffle are particularly welcome, as it takes time to get these big money-spinners prepared.
  • Pledges of home baking for the cake stall should be made to Ann Laing. Please make sure you’ve put your name against your chosen stall or role.Thank you very much!

St. Oswald's Hospice:  following Oliver Cansfield’s Annapurna Circuit Trek, which he and his Dad completed to raise money for St. Oswald's, you can still donate to this great cause.  Ollie has left a collecting box on the Sidesmen's table.  Or you can donate via Facebook or Just Giving: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising-edit/OliverCansfield1-AnnapurnaTrekDonationPage.  St. Oswald’s provides specialist palliative and end of life care to adults, children and young people from the North East of England. Every donation however big or small can make a massive difference to the people who are cared for and the families that receive help from St. Oswald’s. Ollie says, “Thank you all so much for helping to raise money for this amazing charity, I can’t put it into words how much every donation has meant to me. So all I want to say to each and every one of you is thank you!”

Thank you to our church dusting volunteer for this week, 13 – 19 May: Kay Rutherford.
